Ways of Giving

Gift donations of all sizes are welcomed and appreciated — the collective support of many generous families and friends provides the margin of excellence that is vital to the mission of the school and the lives of the pupils it serves.

There are numerous ways in which donations can be made to support St George’s Schools.

Cash gift – these gifts usually take the form of cash, money orders or cheques made payable to St George’s Trust. Please mail your contribution to The Finance Manager, St George’s Preparatory School, 8 Park Drive, Port Elizabeth, 6001

Cash pledge – A pledge enables a donor to consider larger commitments and fulfill them with payments spread over a period of time. Reminders will be sent about your commitment

Continuous giving (automatic payment)

Memorial and Tribute gifts – Making a gift in memory or in honour of a family member, mentor, colleague or friend is a thoughtful way to remember someone special. Gifts made through any of the methods described above can be designated in honour or memory of a loved one or in celebration of a milestone event, such as a birthday, anniversary and graduation.

Facilities – you can help make possible innovative and future focused projects and initiatives the School could not completely fund from its own resources and provide building opportunities to ensure our facilities are responding to the rapidly changing world of education.

Scholarship – providing scholarship opportunities to young people so that they too can achieve their full potential or to those who may not have otherwise been able to attend our School.
