Hope Jones Foundation

“When we care, we change the life of someone. When we change someone’s life, we change a family. When we change a family, we change a community. When we change a community, we change a city.” – Gary Jones

The students of St. George’s College have been dedicated to help the less-fortunate. The Ambassadors of “The Hope Jones Foundation” are no exception. The ‘slogan’ of the Hope Jones Foundation, “ABC4DBC (Able Bodied Children for Disable Bodied Children)” summarises the work that these young heroes do.

The Hope Jones Ambassadors of St Georges College have been working hard towards this cause and have been true ambassadors, not only of the foundation, but also of the school. They worked together to organise a fund raiser that was held in the third term and managed to raise an amount just shy of R1600 that was donated to the foundation. They also took part in the Algoa FM Big Walk for Cancer, not only supporting the cause for cancer, but also raising awareness for “The Hope Jones foundation”.

We look forward to celebrating more support and success for the foundation. Much appreciation and a sincere and humble thank you to all those involved and willing to offer their time, support and help.
